## Description
_Assistant Store Leader Work Schedule:_ The hours for this position area a minimum of 50 hours per week and typically 10
hour days. This is primarily a 2nd shift position where Assistants will typically work Noon-10 pm or 1 pm - 11 pm during weekdays and will be required to work 2-3 weekends a month (consisting of both Saturday and Sunday shifts) depending on the needs and circumstances of the store.

As an Assistant Store Leader your primary purpose will be to support the efforts of the Store Leader in a profitable manner for Kwik Trip, Inc. by working opposite the Store Leader's hours. You will assist in achieving daily goals, operations, training of co-workers, recruitment, merchandising, supervision, inventory control and most importantly to ensure that the highest quality of guest service is being met on a daily basis. This is a fast paced position and the ability to multi-task is essential!

As a Shift Leader you are responsible for completing a wide variety of tasks including waiting on customers, making food, stocking, cleaning, and other general store tasks. In addition, Shift Leaders are a lead co-worker at the store and delegate tasks, train co-workers, resolve customer complaints, troubleshoot register or transaction issues, set the example for excellent customer service, ensure the team focuses on achieving daily goals, assist with merchandising, and most importantly ensure that the highest quality of customer service is being met on a daily basis. This is a fast paced position and the ability to multi-task is essential!
As a Food Service Leader you are responsible for providing quality food products for our customers including items in our Hot Spot, Fresh Case, Roller Grill, Hot & Cold Beverages, and Bake Shop categories as well as maintaining proper rotation, inventory, and cleanliness in these areas. In addition, Food Services Leaders are a lead co-worker at the store and delegate tasks, train co-workers, resolve customer complaints, ensure food safety and sanitation compliance, maintain inventory levels for food products, and most importantly ensure that the highest quality of customer service is being met on a daily basis. This is a fast paced position and the ability to multi-task is essential!
Work Schedule: Both hourly positions are Full Time 38-40 hours , various shifts, and require some weekends.
## Qualifications
Educational background normally attained through one year of specialized training beyond high school or equivalent business/retail related experience.
At least one year of work experience in the service or retail industry including experience with guest service and money handling.
Valid driver''s license
At least one year of leadership experience
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with guests and/or co-workers on a periodic basis where social sensitivity and effective interpersonal skills are necessary.
Ability to collect information from reports, records, or other available sources, establish the accuracy and summarize the information into meaningful results.
Ability to exercise sound judgment when receiving assignments in the form of results expected, due dates, and general procedures.
Ability to work 50 or more hours per week-10
hour work days
Be available to work any shift as business needs dictate
_Physical Requirements_ : Ability to stand/walk 10 hours a day; ability to lift 50 lbs, reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, pinch, and grip.
